Witness Clues:
day 1 -
Raccoonpaw opened his eyes. He was surrounded by darkness, pitch-black. It was eerily silent. As the apprentice padded throughout the darkness, he thought he could see something. He smelt the scent of flowers and leaves, and as he followed it two dark outlines appeared in his view. "Hello?" The small tom called out to them. They did not respond.
He could see that one of the figures was much bigger than the other. Suddenly, as he got closer, screams filled his ears, and in a blink of an eye the two figures were gone. Instead, the body of Featherstar laid before him, starting to pool with blood. In fear, Raccoonpaw started to back away, and looking down, saw that his own paws were covered with blood. Blood... and flowers and leaves?
There was a noise behind him, and as Raccoonpaw turned around to look, he was killed. Then he woke up, alive.

day 2 -
Raccoonpaw opened his eyes, once again greeted by darkness. He called out again into the pitch-black, but no one answered. The apprentice started to walk in a direction, but which ever direction he traveled he was always met with darkness.
Suddenly, whispering could be heard. Raccoonpaw opened his mouth to call out to whoever it was that might be there. However, he realized that he couldn't make a sound, as only blood came out.
Looking down in horror, the tom found that his throat had been torn open, and the blood was now running freely down his chest, like calm as a river.
Looking up, Raccoonpaw was met with the terrified gazes of Mothnut and Mossdapple. "Green." They opened their eyes wide as if in emphasis. "Young." "Leaves!" The two cats frantically sputtered out, and it almost sounded like random gibberish. They were not just talking about new-leaf.
The apprentice realized that the warriors had stopped talking, and gasped when he saw the blood start to seep out of their throats as well. The two cats were staring straight past him, and as he turned to look behind him, a weight was upon him, just before he woke up.

day 3 -
Raccoonpaw opened his eyes. He had expected to be met with the endless pitch-black of his nightmares, but instead was surprised to be surrounded by blinding whiteness.
The tom tried calling out, hoping someone would answer this time. No one did. Disappointed, the apprentice started to walk around as he always did, the change of scenery not doing much for his mind. But as soon as he started on his trek, footsteps could be hear in the distance. Someone was there after all.
Raccoonpaw stood in his spot, calling out once again. The footsteps stopped, and several pairs of green eyes appeared, blinking down at the apprentice. There was no sign of multiple cats being there, only eyes. But for some reason, he could tell who these belonged to.
Old Featherstar, her green gaze clear with wisdom. Mothnut and Mossdapple's were pooled with worry and wonder. Raccoonpaw smiled. So Starclan was watching after him. He could even feel them brushing against his flank in a reassuring manner. Content, the tom turned around to meet the last pair of green eyes.
Briarpaw, her gaze full of bewilderment and resentment, just as she had looked before she was killed.
And out of the blue, it turned dark again, as if a light switched had been flipped down. All the eyes disappeared. Claws sank down into Raccoonpaw's shoulder. He let out a terrified scream, crumpling to the floor in paralyzing shock. Raccoonpaw could only stare up, into another pair of green eyes that were full of hate.
Where was Starclan? Was he dead?
As Raccoonpaw slipped in and out of consciousness, he could make out a brown figure hovering above him. Their paws were pressing something sticky onto his wound, working frantically to stop the bleeding.
And after what seemed like a lifetime, Raccoonpaw felt seeds being placed into his maw. He gladly swallowed them, and after a few minutes the pain ceased. Finally, the troubled apprentice was able to fall asleep again.
