hi everyone! as you all probably know by now net neutrality is most likely going to be abolished in america. we do not yet know whether that will affect the forum or not since proboards' servers are hosted in america. if net neutrality is abolished, then internet providers can charge you for almost anything on the internet, including the usage of certain apps, websites, and services. they will charge websites depending on how fast they want their pages to load, meaning that small or non-profit websites will most likely have to shut down. they can even charge per google search. these are only a few of the things that will change if it is abolished. this will be decided on december fourteen, tomorrow. we don't have long left to help, but if you want to support net neutrality then follow these steps. while the bottom three can only be done by americans, the petition can be signed by anyone! i. sign a petition!
ii. write or call to congressiii. write to the fcc chairman, ajit paiiv. text RESIST to 50409 for resistbot's assistance in contacting the appropriate officialslet's hope we can all make a difference and stop the abolishment of net neutrality!
