blossomClanners are very friendly and accepting of everyone, meaning that they will always take in rogues & loners. they value love and kindness, teaching their kits to always show mercy. playfulness is also a common trait throughout the clan as they spend their days climbing flowering trees or racing through soft meadows. this clan is very trusting and usually the last to join any sort of conflict.
they live in a light forest filled with silvery birches, willows (close to the river) and cherry blossom trees. the ground is covered in short soft grass and fields of small flowers. the river borders their territory on both the dewClan and echoClan sides with the gorge being their border with frostClan. their camp is situated in almost the middle of their territory, closer to the river than the gorge. the ground is fairly flat with a few slight hills close to their outside border.
they often have very warm colored pelts of ginger & brown. pure blossomclan cats will generally stick to this color scheme, but since they take in a lot of outsiders there are many other colors in the mix. they often have very fluffy pelts, sometimes long yet medium length is the most common.
SKILLS & PREY
blossomclanners are good at hunting, tracking, and climbing. they enjoy climbing the many trees throughout their territory, challenging each other to leap from one tree to the next. they hunt woodland birds, hares, rabbits, mice, and squirrels.DEWCLANPERSONALITY
dewclanners are very peaceful and laid back, not having any strict hierarchies or duties to attend to. they are very close to one another, much like a large family, and for that reason can be mistrusting of outsiders. they are still likely to take in a loner if they are honest and willing. generally they are very social cats, enjoying to talk and interact with one another. conflict is not something they encourage, but if something threatens their friends and family they will fight back.
they live in a very open and marshy terrain. small creeks and streams branch off the main river and flow throughout the territory, the spaces in-between filled with fields of tall grass or boggy ground. there are a couple of small sandy or pebbly beaches along the river, spots where dewclanners often sun themselves. they swim in the river, which is their border with blossomClan, who doesn't mind them using the river. the start of the forest is their border with echoClan and the gorge is their border with frostclan. their camp is towards their outside border in a field of tall grass with several smooth stones in the centre. they shelter beneath these stones or under the stubborn bushes scattered throughout the grass.
dewclanners have a wide range of pelt colors, with non being key to their clan. there are two main body types though, lithe or muscular. the lithe cats are those who are better at weaving through the tall grass and have thinner pelts. the muscular cats are better at swimming and have thick pelts to keep them warm.
SKILLS & PREY
swimming is obviously a main skill of this clan, but so is agility and hunting. they can weave through the tall and thick grasses of their territory to successfully hunt. their main sources of prey are fish, frogs, water voles, and birds in leaf-bareECHOCLANPERSONALITY
echoclanners are known for being mysterious, distrusting, and very religious. they stick to themselves, rarely engaging with the other clans even in conflict. whilst they appear elusive to the outside eye, within their own territory they are very bold and dominant, always striving to be the very best they can. they worship starclan the most out of all clans, relying on their every word, and this is one reason why they dislike frostclan so much. pride can be clearly seen throughout all cats in the clan, unless someone conflicts with their superstitions and beliefs.
they live in a thick pine forest, the needles blocking out the sunlight or filtering it to seem dimmer. the ground is covered in a thin layer of grass which is usually lush and slightly damp. the land is very uneven with some places having deep dips in the ground, places that are often filled with mist and fog in mornings. on their outside border is a steep cliff with several caves dotted throughout it, and this is where echoclan has made their camp. towards the bottom are some shallow, lighter caves for the warriors whereas the deeper caves are for apprentices and kits. guards sit outside the caves at all times. the end of the forest is their border with dewclan and the river is their border with blossomclan.
they are most often dark colored cats, blacks and deep greys. their fur is usually short and thin, sometimes sleek. this is to blend in with the black of night when they are usually active. there are absolutely no white cats or mostly white cats due to their superstition about white cats being unlucky. such kits are usually left at the border for blossomclan or dewclan to take in.
SKILLS & PREY
stealth and tracking are important skills to this clan. they value being able to creep through the night unnoticed which naturally makes them effective hunters. they don't often climb despite living in a forest, but they can if they have to. usually they hunt crows, magpies, squirrels, rats, and mice.FROSTCLANPERSONALITY
frostclanners are known for being seclusive, ready to fight, and fiercely protective. they absolutely do not tolerate outsiders of any kind and will not take loners into the clan, instead they will drive them off with a few scars to remind them not to come back. duties and order are very important to the cats in this clan, apprentices being whipped into shape early on in their lives. they do not believe in starclan at all, even medicine cats having limited confidence in their ancestors. fighting is also very important to them, teaching apprentices that conflict can solve anything if it is planned right.
their territory is slightly higher than the other clans after the earth split, resulting in it being colder with snow falling there first. there is little cover across the territory with only the occasional pine tree or low-lying bush growing. across the gorge, near where the waterfall flows on the opposite side, there is a rickety wooden bridge, placed there by twolegs long ago. their camp is at the highest point in their territory where there is a crater, scattered with chunks of smashed boulder and covered in scraggly vines. the cats sleep beneath the boulders or in the shallow caves which can be found around the edge of the camp. along one of their borders is a dried up stream, and the gorge is their border with blossomclan and dewclan.
they are usually large cats with thick, long, and/or fluffy pelts to keep out the harsh weather. their fur is generally lighter shades of grey and brown to blend in with the rocks, it doesn't particularly matter. these cats are large and muscular to navigate their territory and be able to fight well.
SKILLS & PREY
fighting and strength are skills common to most frostclanners, being taught from an early age how to use strategy in battle. they are expected to be able to climb and navigate their territory, so are fairly good at that. they generally hunt birds (often large ones), hares, and mice.
